• What is the difference between the Pro and the ionator EXP™?

  The Pro and the ionator EXP both clean and sanitize. They both have the same great general cleaning performance. The difference between the two is their level of sanitizing capabilities.

  The Pro is tested and certified to REMOVE greater than 99.9% of harmful bacteria through a spray and wipe process. The Pro retails for $299 and has a 1 year warranty.

  The ionator EXP is tested and certified to KILL more than 99.9% of harmful bacteria through a 6 second continuous spray. The ionator EXP retails for $329 and has a 2 year warranty.

  If your sanitizing process requires that you KILL bacteria, the ionator EXP is your choice. For $30 more you achieve a greater level of sanitizing and receive an additional year warranty. If you are only concerned with cleaning surfaces and removing bacteria, than the Pro is the better choice for your needs.

• Can I sanitize with the ionator EXP™?

  Yes. When used as directed, the ionator EXP kills more than 99.9% of harmful bacteria, including the 2009 Pandemic H1N1 Influenza A Virus in six seconds.

• What is the ionator EXP™?

  The ionator EXP™, when used as directed, allows institutions to reduce the risk of exposure to their guests and staff from dirt, harmful bacteria, and the H1N1 virus from non-porous, hard surfaces. With just a faucet and the ionator EXP, people now have an abundant supply of effective cleaner that also assists in the protection of public health and they no longer have the ongoing expense of purchasing cleaning chemicals. Because it’s just ionized water, using the ionator EXP™ is a good choice for humans, animals, and the environment, and after use, it leaves behind zero residue.

• How does the ionator EXP™ technology work?

  The ionator EXP™ activates and converts tap water into ionized water, a powerful dirt-removing, bacteria-killing cleaner, through a three-step process: 1. Charging: When the trigger is pressed, the water flows through a water cell that applies a slight electrical charge to the tap water. 2. Transforming: Next, the water passes through an ion exchange membrane where the ionized water is separated into an oxygenated mixture of positively and negatively charged nano-bubbles. 3. Cleaning: When applied, the transformed, ionized water helps lift the dirt from the surface like a magnet, enabling it to be wiped away. The ionized water returns to its natural state after 30-45 seconds.

• Where is the technology currently being used?

  Currently, the technology is being used to clean and sanitize homes, universities/ schools, stadiums, airports, restaurants, retail, hospitals, hotels/motels, convention centers, local government and many, many other places where people live, work, and play.

• How long has this technology been in the marketplace?

  From cleaning medical devices and computer chips to food processing plants, the technology to create ionized water through water electrolysis has been around for more than 50 years. In the past, water electrolysis has created two streams of water – negative and positive – which could not be combined. With the introduction of the ionator EXP™ hand-held sprayer, however, this is the first time both streams have been combined to work together to produce a general-purpose cleaner and sanitizer.
